Osteoarthritis increases with time. It cannot be cured but can be controlled. <p>Hepatitis B is the second biggest preventable cause of cancer after tobacco. One in every 12people worldwide is suffering from chronic hepatitis B and C.</p>
<p>Hepatitis in simple terms means the inflammation of the liver. It is a viral infection which spreads through body contact and fluid exchange.<br />
Hepatitis may occur with limited or no symptoms but often leads to jaundice, anorexia (poor appetite) and uneasiness. Initial symptoms are<span id="more-1195"></span> flu- like, common to almost all acute viral infections and may include uneasiness, muscle and joint aches, fever, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and headache.</p>
<p>If left untreated, it can also lead to liver cirrhosis and complications like liver cancer or liver failure.</p>
<p><strong>Hepatitis</strong> is most commonly caused by one of the four hepatitis viruses, hepatitis A virus, hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus and hepatitis E virus.</p>
<p>Hepatitis A and E are caused by ingestion of contaminated food and water. Hepatitis A is the most common form of hepatitis in children.<br />
Because hepatitis A and E can be a infection, particularly in children, it is possible for some people to be unaware that they had the illness. HAV and HEV do not cause liver cirrhosis but can cause acute hepatitis failure especially in pregnancy.<br />

<p><strong>Here are a few ways one can get rid of dead skin:</strong><br />
An exfoliating scrub is the easiest way to get rid of dead skin cells on your face. Use one with almonds as an ingredient. The essential oil of almonds will help repair your skin.<br />

Lather soap on your face, or acne wash if you have acne too, scrub with a sponge. Apply a thick layer of lotion on dead skin on the heels. Let it stay for a few minutes, so that the skin is softened. Apply some more lotion, and then, with the razor you use to shave your arms and legs, gently scrape off the skin.</p>
<p>The before sleep CTM (cleansing-toning-moisturising) routine will help you through this changing weather too. Splash water on your face, apply cleansing lotion, wipe it off, then with the help of cotton wool apply toner. After a while, use a cream (or an oil free lotion in case of oily skin) on your face and go to sleep. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For most of us, hiccups are merely a random disturbance. Unfortunately, for several others hiccups can be so persistent that they can lead to fatigue, dehydration and insomnia. In either case, it is important to know what causes this seemingly annoying problem.</p>
<p><strong>Hiccups Symptom and Causes:</strong></p>

Hiccups occur when there is an irritation of the nerves in the esophagus, stomach and the diaphragm. This aggravation causes the diaphragm (a muscle below your ribs that separates the chest and abdominal cavity) to contract in spasms. The sudden rush of air causes the esophagus to close, which eventually causes hiccups. Sometimes, eating too fast or swallowing too much air can also be the cause.</p>
<p><strong>Hiccups Treatment:</strong></p>
<p>Take a teaspoon each of ginger juice, honey, lime juice and a pinch of pepper. Mix them together and lick a tiny bit from a spoon, off and on.</p>
<p>Hold your breath as along as possible, and let it go out. Repeat it few times.</p>
<p>Slowly suck on a wedge of fresh lime.</p>
<p>Put one teaspoon of sugar at the rear of your tongue and suck on it. Repeat in two minutes for a total of three times. Alternatively, you can try a tablespoon of peanut butter.</p>
<p>It is believed that you can scare away hiccups. So you can sneak up on someone who has the hiccups and try giving them a good jolt.</p>
<p>Eat some pickles or take a shot of lemon juice.</p>
<p>Take a large mouthful of water with out swallowing, plug both ears, and slowly begin to swallow the water. Unplug your ears and your hiccup will be gone.</p>

In most cases it is extreme dryness of the nasal passage that causes such bleeding because the thin nose lining contains various tiny blood vessels, which tend to bleed easily. Other than dryness, nose bleeding can occur due to injury to the nose, infection of the mucus membrane, cold and nose picking, allergies, rhinitis, or even high blood pressure.</p>
<p><strong>How to Stop a Nose Bleeding</strong><br />
<span id="more-1131"></span></p>
<p>In ayurvedic, nose bleed is termed as naasagata rakta pitta and its main cause is an aggravated pitta dosha. Therefore, it is necessary to do ujjai pranayam. Initially, ujjai gently raises the frequency of vibration in a cell which dispels the heavy prana and then cools the cell and bringing it to its natural rhythm. This also makes sure that there is no pressure on the delicate membranes of the nose while breathing.</p>
<p>Ujjai pranayam: Inhale as if there was a slight pressure on your throat and a hissing sound comes from it. Your stomach comes out as you inhale and it goes in as you exhale. Make sure no pressure is exerted on the nose. If you’re breathing in for 5 counts then breathe out for 10. Continue for 5-10 minutes and then gradually increase the count.</p>
<p>It is also beneficial to put cow’s ghee in your nostrils as it lubricates the nasal passage and strengthens the mucous membranes. Warm ghee to a bearable temperature. Lie down flat on your back and let the head hang down, bending the head backwards. Using a dropper or a spoon pour about 5 drops of ghee in each nostril turn by turn, so that it does not flow down towards the throat but flows backwards towards the head. Stay in the position for five minutes afterwards. You can do this daily.</p>
<p>You can make nasal drops from mixing a pinch of camphor powder in 1tsp of coriander juice. Squeeze 2-3 drops of this mixture into both the nostrils. Drink plenty of fresh fruit juices to keep yourself cool.</p>

Reducing dental plaque reduces the levels of bacteria in the mouth which, when you have bleeding gums, can get into the blood and increase the risk of atherosclerosis – the narrowing of arteries.<br />
Bacteria feed on sugary and high carbohydrate foods. Low-sugar diets, containing a balance of complex carbohydrate, proteins and oils, are linked to lower levels of dental plaque. </p>

<p><strong>Toothpaste</strong><br />
Choose a tooth paste containing ingredients designed to prevent plaque. An anti-bacterial substance called triclosan in toothpastes claims to reduce plaque. Some others contain a plaque-dissolving formula that breaks the bonds attaching plaque to the tooth surface.</p>
<p><strong>Polyphenols</strong><br />
